The School, opened in September 1990 offers a complete, formal education for children aged from 4 to 11 years to meet the increasing demand for high standards of learning and discipline in schools. The school is registered with and approved by the Department for Education and is under the personal direction of its two working directors both with many years of experience in education.
The school prepares children at the age of 11 years for a variety of secondary education choices by giving a solid, well balanced grounding for entry to state secondary schools and also by preparing children for entry to a choice of private secondary establishments, where success in entrance examinations is a requirement for entry. The vast majority of our students, who take the tests, are successful in obtaining entry to the schools.
The atmosphere of the school is a happy one of caring,individual attention with special emphasis on mutual respect, trust, good manners and endeavour, leading to high standards of achievement in all areas of learning including behaviour.
Rules exist for the safety of the children and also to ensure that suitable conditions prevail for positive teaching and learning to take place. Discipline is firm and includes sanctions, withdrawal of privileges and extra work.
